DESIGN NOTES:

STAGE 1:

Reticulated KDF-85 Cubes to convert iron Ferric (dissolved iron) to Ferrous (insoluble particulate), even at the lower levels on listed on our report, the amount iron will cause quite a bit of staining issues. The reticulated KDF-85 system will convert the the iron from a dissolved solid to a particulate that will be caught by a layer of filter gravel at the base of the tank.

The system is fitted with a manual backwashing head, you’ll want to backwash the system for a bit every few weeks or when you notice a slight drop in water pressure. This will be to flush the iron captured in the system off of the filter gravel and down the drain periodically. This can be done simply by turning the lever from service to backwash, about 1 minute is all that it should take.

This type of manual head keeps backwashing to a minimum, preventing water waste. In addition, this also replaces the need for pre-sediment filter and keeps the system electricity free.

STAGE 2:

Catalytic Carbon Well Water Purification System to polish water & remove trace contaminants.

STAGE 3:

Salt Free Water Softening System to condition High Hardness Levels (well test shows about 14 grains).
